Margot Carter Joins NACD Leaders’ Summit
NACD is fast becoming a thought-provoking forum on the future of business. Cien Cofounder Margot Carter, took part in this year’s NACD Leaders Summit to discuss Corporate Governance and Artificial Intelligence.
Cien Cofounder, Margot Carter, took part in this year’s NACD Leaders’ Summit, which invited her to share insights on the importance of artificial intelligence within enterprises at their “Ask the Experts Power Breakfast: Innovation and Artificial Intelligence” panel. Carter is an important contributor to the NACD, actively serving on the executive committee of the NACD North Texas Chapter.
The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) gathers each year to bring experts together across multiple disciplines to interact, enrich, and inform attendees at their annual Global Board Leaders’ Summit. The event is ultimately a unique learning opportunity that employs workshops, case studies, and peer-to-peer exchanges. This year’s selected speakers had the opportunity to inform their audiences on leadership strategy and future trends within their respective industries.
The event brought together key governance topics ranging from artificial intelligence to shareholder activism to cyber risk. Cien’s Cofounder, Margot Carter, had the chance to speak about the disruptive nature of artificial intelligence alongside the likes of NACD’s Susan Paley, Grant Thornton LLP’s JT Kostman, Diligent Corporation’s Dottie Schindlinger, and Dun & Bradstreet Corporation’s Anastassia Lauterbach. Together, they made up the innovation and artificial intelligence panel that spoke to artificial intelligence’s future in businesses and how to best utilize it for enterprise optimization.
